People make mistakes. The real question is whether or not you would do better by learning from those mistakes or by focusing on building your strengths instead.

Do athletes perform by filling their minds with images of winning or images of losing?  Research says it’s the former – winning!  Are your workdays filled with tasks that let your strengths flow?  Does your work engage your very strongest abilities?  Or do you spend your days managing your mistakes?  The “strengths movement” says that all we learn from our mistakes are the characteristics of mistakes.  If we want to learn about our successes we have to study our successes.  Stay tuned for the six steps in the process of engaging your strengths.
