Data Conversion Project Best Practices #6: Communications

While the project timeline and progress communication concepts have already been spoken to at the agency lead and agency Epic Team level – information sharing at all levels should be encouraged all the way through the project.  Best-practices agencies talk about the Epic project at least weekly if not more often.  As training begins (especially if using individual learning sessions vs. lunch and learns) encouraging users to share with other users things that they are learning will foster a “users helping users” environment in your agency that will be very successful long-term, not just through the Epic adaptation process.
