Until 2011, the Girl Scouts had to rely on charm (and their parent’s help) to sell cookies. Technologically savvy juniors these days in the Girl Scout ranks are now selling their famed cookies online through a custom website and an iPhone app. Membership has declined over the past decade, but cookie sales are at an all time high, thanks to technology that is helping fewer girls sell smarter!
